Jones Day provides 4 SCOTUS clerks from October 2024 time period as associates

Jones Day said Monday it has employed 4 U.S. Supreme Court docket clerks from the October 2024 time period as associates in its points and appeals follow.
Jones Day mentioned it has recruited 100 Supreme Court docket clerks for the reason that October 2011 time period.
The most recent group is smaller than what Jones Day has introduced in recent times, based on a story by Law.com. The regulation agency employed 10 Supreme Court docket clerks from the October 2023 time period, eight clerks from the October 2022 time period and 7 clerks from the October 2021 time period.
All 4 latest hires, three ladies and one man, clerked for justices who had been appointed to the bench by Republican presidents.
The brand new Jones Day hires are Elise Kostial, who clerked for Chief Justice John Roberts; Kari Lorentson, who clerked for Justice Amy Coney Barrett; Seanhenry VanDyke, who clerked for Justice Brett Kavanaugh; and Alexis Zang, who clerked for Justice Clarence Thomas.
