Ex-judge settles case alleging harassment over ‘fancy’ look, designer garments, ‘flowy beachy hair’

A former New Jersey decide has settled with the New Jersey judiciary in a case alleging that she was harassed and discriminated in opposition to for dressing “fancy” and “female” throughout her six months on the bench in Bergen County, New Jersey, in 2015.

The case, which was settled Monday, alleged that former New Jersey Superior Court docket Choose Deborah Gross-Quatrone was hit with complaints and criticism associated to her look from then-Project Choose Bonnie J. Mizdol of Bergen County, together with her “flowy beachy hair” and her designer garments, reminiscent of Louboutin heels, Armani skirts, Louis Vuitton pocketbooks, a big diamond ring and a Rolex watch.

U.S. District Choose Esther Salas of the District of New Jersey entered the order.
