Whether or not they’re cautious of the dangers or just looking for perception into regulation agency operations, most basic counsel now count on their exterior corporations to be clear about their use of synthetic intelligence, in line with a brand new report.
The “2026 KPMG Global General Counsel Outlook“ notes that 82% of basic counsel agree or strongly agree that they count on their corporations to trace and share their use of AI in shopper issues — a “key indicator of AI warning.”
“Legislation corporations at the moment are evaluated not solely on authorized experience, but in addition on how successfully they deploy, govern, and clarify the applied sciences supporting their work,” the report says.
The KPMG report attracts on a world survey of 468 GCs and senior authorized leaders in late 2025 and early 2026.
